HOOF is an independent creative agency offering advertising and design services from Wellington, New Zealand.

HOOF is led by me, Erik Hay. I'm a creative, writer, art director, designer and director.
I’ve worked at a senior level across advertising, branding, communications, digital, exhibition and film, which makes me a bit of a unicorn. From big screen ads to digital banners, campaign treatments to pitch ideas, storyboards to style guides, comms strategies to speeches, I’ve put in the hours. When things need to move quickly and creatively, I bring the horsepower you need.
I make work that’s honest, mischievous, innovative or just beautifully simple. Stuff that cuts through, makes people feel something, and gets remembered for all the right reasons. If you’re after big creative impact without the overhead, I’d love to work together.
