Hui tahi tatoa o Porirua
Kāinga Ora wanted a way to engage the Porirua community in the plans for the Eastern Porirua housing development.

HOOF partnered with Storybox and Silk to develop an interactive pop-up exhibition designed to communicate the spatial plan and invite community feedback.
At the heart of the concept was a sculptural tree that acted as a focal point for the space. Visitors were invited to add leaves with their thoughts and aspirations, turning consultation into a shared metaphor for growth.
HOOF led the concept, art direction and early design schematics, translating a complex planning document into an accessible public experience. The exhibition has since been used as a reference model for future engagement projects.
